Directory Protection – PixelLegion Hosting Control Panel

The Directory Protection feature allows you to password-protect specific folders on your hosting account. This ensures that only authorized users can access the protected content.

How to Set Up Directory Protection?

1️⃣ Log in to your PixelLegion Hosting Control Panel.
2️⃣ In the left-hand menu, go to Security, then click on Directory Protection.
3️⃣ Select the folder you want to protect with a password.
4️⃣ Click on Enable Protection.
5️⃣ Enter a username and password that will be required to access the directory.
6️⃣ Click Save.

Now, when someone tries to access the folder, a login prompt will appear, requiring the correct credentials.

How to Modify or Remove Protection?

• To change the password or username, find the protected folder and click Edit Settings.
• To disable protection, simply click Disable Protection.
