Web Authentication – PixelLegion Hosting Control Panel

Web authentication (WebAuthn) provides a secure alternative to traditional password-based login. When enabled, you only need your username and a FIDO2-certified hardware or software security key to log in.

This authentication method protects your account from password theft, phishing attacks, and other security threats, as it eliminates the need to enter a password.

Enabling Web Authentication

1️⃣ Log in to your PixelLegion Hosting Control Panel account.
2️⃣ From the left menu, select Security Settings.
3️⃣ Click Set Up Web Authentication.
4️⃣ Connect your FIDO2-compatible hardware key (e.g., YubiKey, SoloKey) or select a software-based solution (e.g., Windows Hello, macOS Touch ID).
5️⃣ Confirm the device registration and click Save.

Tip: You can disable web authentication anytime from the Security Settings menu.
