SSL Certificates – Install External SSL in PixelLegion

Installing an External SSL Certificate

If you purchased an SSL certificate from an external provider, you can manually install it in the PixelLegion Control Panel. This ensures that your website is accessible over a secure HTTPS connection.

Where to Find the SSL Settings?

1️⃣ Log in to the PixelLegion Control Panel
2️⃣ In the left menu, select SSL Certificates
3️⃣ Click the Add SSL/TLS Certificate button

Adding an SSL Certificate

Private Key (.key) – Paste the private key provided by your SSL provider
Certificate (.crt) – Paste the SSL certificate issued by your provider
CA Bundle (.ca-bundle) – Paste the certificate authority chain

Important!

  • The certificate files must be in text format (PEM, .crt, .key, .ca-bundle).
  • If the certificate chain is incorrect, SSL will not function properly.
  • After installation, check the HTTPS connection and run an SSL test using tools like SSL Labs.

Troubleshooting – Common Issues

Invalid certificate error – Ensure all files are pasted correctly
Not secure connection warning – The CA chain might be missing
Certificate expired – Renew the SSL certificate with your provider

Once everything is set up, your website will be securely accessible via HTTPS!
